9/11 Wellness: Healing, Renewal, and Community

Supporting the heroes who dedicate their lives to serving others. Our 9/11 Wellness Program provides compassionate, evidence-based care, resources, and ongoing support to help first responders and their families navigate the lasting physical and emotional impacts of service.

A healing community for 9/11 surviving families

Dignity Beyond Borders offers retreats and ongoing support specifically for 9/11 surviving spouses and families — providing opportunities to reconnect, reflect, and renew in peaceful natural settings alongside others who truly understand.

Through trauma-informed programming and compassionate facilitation, 9/11 Wellness creates a space where surviving families can continue their healing journey. Participants focus on movement, mindfulness, and shared strength while building lasting connections with their community.

Whether you lost a loved one on September 11, 2001, or more recently through a 9/11-related illness, this program is for you.

“The retreat gave me permission to grieve and grow at the same time. I left feeling lighter, stronger, and more connected than I have in years. The friends I made there are my family now.”
